Question about acidic conditions
|
|
|
I have bee conducting some research on Hyperkalemia which is a conditio;n
caused by higher than normal levels of potassium in the bloodstream.
The article that read states
Excess potassium in the blood stream can cause Acidosis (acidic condition
of the body).
Does lemon juice help eliminate the acidic condition in the body?

Since lemon juice is acidic, expecting it reduce the "acidic condition
in the body" (acidosis is a very serious condition, not something
that's lurking in you) would be like expecting lighter fluid to
extinguish a barbecue.

These are my opinions only, but they're almost always correct.
"His staff loves to say Bush is a man who doesn't know the
meaning of the word 'quit.' Well, apparently he's not all
that conversant with the word 'shame' either." (Will Durst) |
