Hello! I have been having several problems associated with headaches,
neckaches, and back pain. In April, I hit the back of my head pretty hard
snowboarding and have had dull headaches nearly every day. When it was
starting to go away, I went to an amusement park about a month ago and
somehow hurt my back (probably on the old rickety roller coaster) and ended
up laying on the couch for 3 days, unable to move. Since then, I have
consistent neck pain accompanied by those same dull headaches. I'm
considering going to a chiropractor, but unsure of a doctor who makes my
spine crunch. Occasionally I go through symptoms of nausea and difficulty
breathing. Are these connected? Any suggestions as to what might be wrong
with me? I'm only 24 years old...I shouldn't have to worry about this stuff!!
! Thank you for your time.

No idea at all what might be wrong with you, but nausea and difficulty
breathing aren't usually a good combination. You might want to think about
having that checked out by a real doctor before you do anything else.

It's entirely conceivable that your headaches are musculoskeletal, in which
it would probably be OK to go to a physical therapist. I doubt that even a
chiropracter could hurt you at age 24 (as long as you don't listen to him
too carefully, but I do agree with Carey that you ought to check in with
your primary care doctor first.
