Hi

I'm a second year biochem student. I'm doing a project on lyprinol and
its anticancer actions/properties. I'm finding it hard to find
information on this. Are any of you aware of any published research
into lyprinol and cancer?
I understand that Pharmalink got to phase 1 human trials with it, so
there must be something out there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

As I have come to realise, there is pretty much no evidence supporting
the anti-cancer claims of lyprinol. Perhaps this is just because the
right experiments have not yet been done.
So now I've changed my question to: how do ETAs (eicosatetraenoic
acids) inhibit cancer growth? How do they block the lipoxygenase
pathway and what affect does this have?

Any pointers would be great

Cheers
