Hello All:

I am looking for some info regarding critical care ground transports
(CCT) / interfacility transports. I work for a private, not-for-profit

healthcare network in North Carolina, and we are beginning the
groundwork for a proposal to undertake this service.

CCTs will be a totally new arena for us, and I would greatly appreciate

any information that y'all could provide, from anywhere in the U.S. or
otherwise!

Specifically, I am looking for:

Approximate billing amounts / rates

What type of services do you provide on your ground transports? (IABP,

neonatal, etc)

What crew configurations do you use? (RN/RN, RN/EMTP, RN/RT, etc)

What type(s) of vehicles do you use?

Thanks for your time and attention.

The company I work for uses RN/EMT-intermediate.
We use a type III modular ambulance and carry portable vents, IVAC IV pumps
and RSI meds.
IAPB and neonate transfers require appropriate specialists from the facility
to accompany us.
