The entire discussion has been a great opportunity to illustrate how
the food and nutrition field in the US was hatched and grew from people
who have agendas, whether religious/vegetarian agendas, or
fame-seeking, or profiteering. They had no qualms in using seriously
bad science to support unsupportable views and furthermore had no
qualms applying their dangerous nonsense to real live people/patients
for their own ends.
The fact that gohdiot sits there vociferously defending all that
nonsense goes even further to illustrate how many well-meaning folk
today buy into the nonsense that they are fed by the mass media and the
food industry advertisers.
So, in summation, gohdiot has actually served a purpose. His stupidity
has opened a discussion that was able to shed light on the whys and the
whos of the modern house of cards that has formed modern opinion on
nutrition, science and foods. Quite enlightening for many readers.

That has got to be the most moronic comment that I have heard in a long
time.
TC, you are nothing, but a total buffoon who doesn't have a clue as to
what he is talking about. So, I am supposed to be all embarrassed by
this stupid reply of yours? And, waste more of my time pointing out
what should be painfully obviously to anybody half-way knowledgeable
about the subject? No, I do NOT think so. :)
