Warren Buffet's 37 billion and nothing for anti-aging research !
|
|
|
Our planet is suffering from massive overpopulation that is
unsustainable and could lead to the entire destruction of mankind.
Any widespread effort to promote anti-aging is irresponsible until
we can reduce the population and selectively apply any anti-aging
benefits to only the most valuable people. |

And we will know those most "valuable", if they are breathing. |

Look, it's HIS money. Buffet should be able to spend it
in any legal way that pleases him. He has paid his taxes on
the income from that $37 billion. Shame on anyone who wants
to dispute this contribution to the B & M Gates Foundation.

By this logic we should close down all hospitals and throw everyone
over 60 into the sea. Penicillin and other antibiotics save countless
lives every day thus contributing to a higher population level. Should
we stop using them? You won't if your life is on the line.
"Most valuable people"? Who decides that? A totalitarian dictator? Big
brother? The government? You?
If you're so worried about overpopulation your focus would be better
turned to contemporary "faith-based initiatives" designed to suppress
education about contraceptives. |

I'm always amused by the mindset that some folks are more important
than others. It's always been my question as well ... who gets to
decide.
I also think population pressure isn't necessarily bad as it can force
expansion and evolution. Plenty of unsettled plots on the moon and
mars! ;)
Before a baby chick hatches from it's egg, it uses up all it's
available resources. It takes what little is left into it's body just
before emerging from the shell. If, for whatever reason, it fails to
emerg from the shell ... it dies. Life is like that. |

He did pay taxes on it? And you know this how? Usually the more you
make the less taxes you pay.

There are no mysteries here. He made his money by owning and running |
Berkshire Hathaway, all his money is in the publicly traded stock, with
all the information you could ever want about it available. |

No argument there, but the OP was trying to tell Buffett how to spend
his money - on the OP's pet project that the rest of us disagreed with. |
