Enhaned External Counterpulsation (EECP)

Currently, I am working on a project for a class regarding EECP. I have
just recently become familiar with EECP and was curious as to know
other medical professional's opinions on the procedure and if it is
cost efficient for hospitals? Through my research, I have seen mixed
opinions on the legitimacy of the procedure. Your ideas are most
appreciated. Thank you.

Hospitals make more money with angioplasty/stenting and bypass-surgery
than using the non-invasive EECP approach.

There are well-controlled studies that provide evidence to support its
use. Moreover, insurance companies do reimburse for it which speaks
volumes for its legitimacy.
