Protecting those who mistreat and do bodily and financial harm to lyme
patients?

"The LymeNet Terms & Conditions contain the following:
You also agree not to post the last name, or the first name, of any
person that treats Lyme disease. Instead, please use the first initial
of the last name only, with the state, but not city. For example, Dr.
B. in NY. This person's contact information should not be displayed on
LymeNet. However, you may email this information. This is to protect
those that treat Lyme and the Lyme community."

Well, it ceratinly doesn't make any sense whatever, except to create a
"circle the wagons" mentality within Lyme patients themselves.

It's really pretty damn silly.

Everyone...and especially the insurance companies... know who these
guys are.

I think it's done not so much to protect the obvious LLMDs such as
burrascano but rather to protect the identities of gp docs who treat
intensively when one of their patients has lyme and who work with ILADS
docs in these circumstances but do not make it the focus of their
practice.

Well, let's face facts, shall we?

You really don't think very much at all, do you?

A GP who doesn't focus his practice on treating Lyme patients isn't
very likely to fall under investigation, now is he?

Dumbass.
