Questions from a Future Pharm-D student

Greetings all!

I am currently working toward entering pharmacy school in the fall
of '07 or '08. What can I do to enhance my application to Pharm School?
Here are some stats to help out:
-female
-29yrs old (married)
-Associate in Sciences Degree (3.9 GPA)
-Should have CPhT by the end of the summer
-Currently working in a retail pharmacy
-Honor Society Member (Phi Theta Kappa)
-SAT (back in '94) score 1230
-Not big on recreational extracurriculars in college due to
working/actually trying to learn something *hehe*

Also, what interesting specialties are out there aside from research? I
like the thought of research, but I have *always* detested writing
formal papers. For this reason I think I'd just make myself miserable
in that concentration. Public speaking for large groups also petrifies
me so teaching is out. Compounding and Nuclear Pharmacy have peaked my
interest so far, but I have yet to discover how practical either of
those would be to pursue.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!
