BABIES, VIOXX AND THE 30%...

Women should not have to ASK for the "extra" up to 30% in the birth canal
for their babies.

Most women don't KNOW to ask...

It's sort of like with Vioxx...

[Dennis Erb, Merck's vice president for global strategic regulatory
development]...maintained that doctors were informed about the VIGOR study
through
news accounts and articles in medical journals.

"The cardiovascular results of VIGOR were widely reported and discussed
at the time. We worked diligently with the FDA to review the data and
develop revised prescribing information," Erb testified.

Doctors who wanted more information about the study only had to request
the material from the company, Erb said. About 133,000 did so, he
added.

But even after an FDA advisory committee recommended in April 2001 that
doctors should be advised about the findings of the VIGOR study, Merck
sent a bulletin to its representatives urging them not to "initiate
discussions on the FDA arthritis committee ... or the results of ...
the VIGOR study."

"Instead of informing doctors about the risk of Vioxx," Waxman
continued, "Merck told its reps to continue to rely on the highly
questionable cardiovascular card."

Waxman said the 20,000 pages of documents that Merck submitted to the
committee show that "health risks were viewed as obstacles that the
sales force was instructed to surmount."

Sacral tips being jammed up to 4 cm into pelvic outlets (thereby closing
birth canals up to 30%) are viewed as obstacles that the sales force
(medical students) are instructed to overcome by whipping the uterus with a
drug (oxytocin) and/or by pulling with forceps and vacuums.

ALSO: OBs are slicing vaginas and abdomens en masse
(episiotomy/c-section) - surgically/fraudulently inferring that everything
possible is being done to open birth canals - even as they CLOSE birth
canals the "extra" up to 30%.

It's obvious mass assault and battery by OBs.

Chiropractic boards are supposed to be focused on public health...I
am hoping that state boards of chiropractic and physical therapy will

state medical boards and attorney generals to simply do their jobs and stop
the obvious birth crimes...

Good point Joel.

Vioxx is contraindicated in pregnancy.

Yodfat Y/Dr. Jullien Rozan, Family Medicine, Hebrew University--Hadassah
Medical School, Jerusalem. yodfat@tzora.co.il writes:

I'll cc yodfat@tzora.co.il.

The folks at Hebrew University may not yet be aware that OBs are routinely
closing birth canals up to 30% and routinely keeping birth canals closed the
"extra" up to 30% when babies get stuck - and lying to cover-up.

(Hebrew Univ. folks: See the Four OB Lies in my "Radiologists! Reach in
vagina" post, URL below.)

The folks at Hebrew University also might not be aware that - before birth -
or immediately after a difficult birth...

When radiologists use radiation or MRI to check for pelvic capacity (to
decide if women should have c-sections), they keep the birth canal closed
the "extra" up to 30% - just like their obstetrician brethren!
