While sexual dysfunction has been somewhat of a problem when prescribing
antihypertensive medication, I have had some patient's who when on ARB's
alone, have commented on enhanced and prolonged orgasm. One patient claimed
his orgasm had become so prolonged and intense while on ARB's that he had
to cut down on his sexual frequency as his orgasms were so intense that "he
just couldn't take that much pleasure" Of course these are potent drugs,
and should only be used by patients when appropriately prescribed by
physicians for approved indications in patients who have a patient dr.
relationship with the prescribing physician.
