we're having a bit of a heat wave here, the past week it's been over
100 every day, the next two days are expected to be borrelia-killing
heat in the 110 degree range, with high humidity so that heat indices
will be 115 or so. it's been like an oven outside, I was wondering how
long I should stay outside in order to get my body temperature up over
108 or so, just for long enough to kill borrelia? how long does it
take? today I hiked a few miles in the middle of the day, after about 2
miles I started to feel even more confused and disoriented than normal.
I was thinking, maybe if I forced myself to hike about 8 miles in the
middle of the day, when it was between 105 and 110, maybe I could
really kill off some of the buggers? will I be OK if I drink liquids
while I'm doing that, or can you still get heat stroke even though
you're replacing all the electrolytes and liquids? is this safer than
ICHT, or more dangerous?

There are ceratinly less agonizing ways of killing yourself than
heatstroke.

I used to work construction during the summers and I managed to get hit

several times with it...both times during concrete pours when the
tempertaure was near 100.

Not funny. One time was mild and cleared over a weekend...the second
was bad. It took nearly a week for me to recover.

You are a real, serious, total dumbass.

If you want to kill yourself...why don't you just go into a bar where
the guys who work on the oil rigs hang out and recite that lovely piece
of
crap you wrote about what you like to put in your mouth?

I can't imagine what that must be like...although you can probably get
a sense of it from reading this post.

Is this supposed to be funny?

4:39 in the morning, huh?
