Dumb question about food
|

|
x-no-archive:yes
This may sound stupid, but I am trying to increase my protein intake
while limiting carbs and fat. Is there a high protein, low carb, no fat
food? |

Yes, several with almost no carbs or fat, but why would you want a
protein
only diet? |

Part of why a low carb diet works is the healthy animal fats that
satiate you and bring with it the fat soluble vitamins A, D, E and K.
There is no reason to fear the animal fats that humans have been eating
for millions of years.

Protein is the more satiating of the macro nutrients.

Humans as we know them have been here 200 k or less. Our ancestors
among the homanids started eating meat some 3 or so million years ago,
as a somewhat minor addition to their diet and many meat sources are
quite low in fat, especially those ungulates of e. africa where they
originated. |
