Hey, Steve. Blow me ... right after you finish with Chung. You're a
puppet, nothing more.

Why don't you and Chung take this religious dribble to a more
appropriate
group? Afraid you'll have no audience?

As you are aware, it's not my religious drivel. I'm not a Christian.

It remains my heartfelt wish that you would accept Christ's offer of
salvation, dear Steve whom I love, in Jesus' most precious and holy
name.

And it remains my hearfelt wish that you would eliminate sci.med.cardiology
from your posts that are confined to religious content only

Yes, I know that is your heartfelt wish which arises from your belief
that Christianity is a religion.

Quote:
so as (1) to not offend those who aren't interested

This is not rational and compared to many of the other SMC
participants, you have expressed an interest in being rational.

Are you truly offended by what does not hold your interest ?

Quote:
and (2) to remove impediments that
currently hurt your efforts to make the medical info that you possess
available in sci.med.cardiology.

Without the LORD, there would be neither knowledge nor wisdom.

Quote:
If you truly believe in Christ, you would *know* that he would have told you the same thing.

The Holy Spirit guides me in everything I say, do, and write. Without
faith in LORD Jesus Christ, there would be no guidance from the Holy
Spirit. May you someday know this, dear friend Steve whom I love in
Jesus' most precious and holy name.

Quote:
As for Christ's offer of salvation, your message is offensive to me.

Following your logic, why are you not interested in eternal life ?

Quote:
Do not repeat it to me.

Being openly Christian means in part to be a living example of Christ's
offer of salvation.

Quote:
There is still time, Andy, for you to accept that he was a
man who was born a Jew, lived as a Jew, and died as a Jew.

In truth, the only man who has ever been able to give up eternal life
at the request of another is Christ Jesus, my LORD, my Savior, and my
GOD, Whom I love with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength.

No amount of time will ever make me greater than HIM.

This is the truth. This is what HE is. HE is the truth.

"I am the way, the truth, and the life... " - LORD Jesus Christ

May you not end up in the same place where Al is headed, dear friend
Steve whom I love, in Jesus' most precious and holy name.

Amen.

If you and others following this are interested in my after death
meeting with LORD Jesus Christ on 02/03/1997 and how HE brought me
back, call me and leave me a message on how to reach you by phone to
give you full on-line access to a true documented account. The phone
number is as listed on HeartMDPhD.com.

Prayerfully in Christ's amazing love,

As for sock puppets, who's post resembles those of a sock puppet more, yours
(with zero content beyond a title in caps and the same comments over and
over), or mine?

Why don't you move out of your parent's (or parents') house, and get a job??

Puppet.

Calling people names when they disagree with you is rather immature.

Out of curiosity, what is your age and are you still living with your
parents ?

Probably a teenager. Definitely still living with one or both of his
parents.

Sorry Chung, I don't answer to LIARS. I'm here to criticize your
incessant off-topic, intrusive, idiotic religious posting in a
cardiology group.

And you ARE a liar:

Like the 2 pound scientifically unproven diet that he constantly pushes?

If a person limits him/herself to 2 pounds of food daily, (other than the
trivial case of eating 2lbs of ice cream, candy, etc.), a person will
typically lose weight, particularly an obese person who does not have an
underlying medical condition driving the obesity.

The fact is that Chung's advice is sound, and it is valuable because it is
easier to simply weigh portions than to worry about the caloric content of a
particular portion of food (if a serving is 200 calories, did I measure out
a serving correctly, do I have a "little over" and if so, what is the actual
caloric content?), etc.

Quote:
Or his advice to fast for 40 days to become "cut"???

I know people who have fasted (other than water and an occasional piece of
bread and a fruit) for 40 days, and who have become "cut." However, they
promptly lost their "physique" when going back to normal food intake. The
moral being that as with any diet (including the 2lb diet), it is best to 1)
not go to extremes and 2) to exercise concurrently with the diet.
BTW, that part about "extremes" does not include limiting the daily intake
of food to 2 lbs (of balance, logical food).

Quote:
Or the recommendations by someone who no hospital will grant admitting
priviledges to?

I wish I had a dollar for everyone that I know who took a principled stand
on a given issue, ran afoul of "the powers that be", and ended up in a world
of hurt because of it.

Quote:
Or like the constant off-topic newsgroup spammer who occasionally answers
medical questions in one or two words?

Chung at least puts some on-topic content in his posts. You, on the other
hand, do not. You're just posting to see your name on the screen. You
otherwise, you have no real message to convey at all.
Quote:

If you, or anyone, get your medical advice from a discredited physician on
an internet newsgroup, you're in BIG trouble. See your doctor!

LOL. Try thinking, a bit. Who in their right mind takes medical advice
from *any doctor*, or from any person that they don't know, via a Usenet
group? (For that matter, who in their right mind takes *any* advice on any
topic from a stranger posting to Usenet??) Chung's posts contain answers to
questions, which answers are a form of medical advice. Such advice should
never be followed blindly; it should be a starting point for further inquiry
on one's own or to the medical personnel that one has access to.

I've vetted Chung's cardiology related answers a couple of times with the
cardiology practices that I use (yes, that's practices, plural), and he has
passed with flying colors. I've personally vetted his advice on a number of
issues by doing additional research (including the concept of the 2lb diet),
and I've not found a single instance of the advice being wrong, outrageously
or otherwise. At worst, I've found some instances of the advice being
controversial.
