flame wars. None of the childish stuff I see on here now.

This NG now appears to be virtually useless to somebody who might wish to
discuss illness. I hope all you guys are happy with the way you have
successfully transformed sci.med.cardiology into an embicile's playground.

Pat,
I agree with you. I once enjoyed visiting this newsgroup but now
rarely even open and read most of the posts since the subjects are NOT
related to CARDIOLOGY or medical issues. Those many people that have
heart problems would probably not post in this newsgroup after reading
the various posts that are NOT related to heart problems.

I agree having just stumbled onto this ng after just having coronary bypass
surgery.
Dr. Chung is the first entry in my newsgroup killfile, so I never will see
his posts again.
Proselytizing from a wacko like this, especially to those of us who are
non-christian, no matter how adequate his medical opinion as a doctor may
be, just conveys to me how inconsiderate a person he actually is.
I hope his Atlanta hospital eventually has a long hard talk with him.

Consider this NG as a garden. One has to weed occasionally but when
weeding it is also possible to destroy desired plants AKA ideas. I
prefer to kill threads but not individuals. With a few exceptions
which I negate often. E.G. I still look at L and sometimes find value.
