Remission in Mouse

If a substance provides tumor remission/ and or inhibition at a rate of 2
milligrams per week per lab rat, what extrapolated
rate would be appropriate for 70 kg adult?
Would it be 140 milligrams per week? Or is it more complicated than a
straight linear shift?
Thanks |

Well, if it was a 1kg rat, I guess a straight linear computation would give
you 140 mg.
But that's a big rat............
And doses are usually calculated on body surface area, which is a bit of a
more complex calculation.
Assuming, of course that the effects and metabolism of the drug are the same
in man and rat.......... |
