"Children inherit their taste for meat and fish but when it comes to
vegetables and desserts it's more nurture than nature"

Conclusion: the vegans have it wrong as one needs to learn to
appreciate vegetables while meat and fish just come naturally.

Notice how he leaves out the following from his link:

"Although the researchers said it is not clear which factors influence
a taste for fruits, vegetables or desserts, they suggested availability
or the influence of parents could play a part.

'It might be that children who witness their parents show enthusiasm or
distaste for certain types of vegetables or puddings are likely to
follow suit,' Wardle said."

They determined their results by asking mothers what their kids liked.
Yes, this is a great example of why biology, medicine, and nutrition
are one big joke/failure these days.

Some of us don't like meat and fish. I've never liked fish, except for tuna
from a can or pouch. Can't stand any other fish. I did like meat as a
child, but don't like it now. My daughter never liked meat or fish but
recently has had to start eating some meat to get enough protein. She has
dairy and egg allergies. From what I've seen, most little kids aren't big
meat eaters. They love macaroni and cheese or plain noodles, peanut butter
sandwiches, plain bread, and the outside part of chicken nuggets, but not
the chicken itself. Perhaps this is because those things are easier to chew
than meat is.
