Salvation by faith in LORD Jesus Christ is forever.
Peter would be an example of someone who left Jesus' side to inflict
harm on another and yet remained HIS disciple even after denying Christ
3 times soon after, proving that indeed he had left the LORD's side.

If you "left your walk with Christ", why would he then grant your
request to
"annihilate" someone?
That is GOD's promise to HIS people.
But, if you had "left your walk with Christ", then you would no longer be
one of "his people"...so why would he then "annihilate" someone on your
behalf?
