That is true--the vast majority of the people that take statin drugs have
developed no medical problems.

Here's the other side of this story:

In 2001, Baycol, a statin cholesterol-lowering drug was pulled from the
market after being linked to 31 deaths.

There is a very serious disease called RHABDOMYOLYSIS

Believe it or not SATINS medications can cause people to develop this disease.
I've read the abstracts of at least 50 medical reports related to statins
and Rhabdomyolysis is mentioned in the titles of many of those abstracts.

I don't understand why the news media has NOT covered this story.

My advice: If you have muscle pain that may or may not be linked to your
use of statin medications--stop taking the statin pills until you can talk to
your doctor.
