Only maybe in those few that has hematochromatosis. But all others are
prone to iron deficiency.

True .. BUT .. the ONLY .. difference .. between the groups .. wasn't
... water ..
And if it WAS water .. then you would have a .. case and/or
circumstantial evidence .. that it WAS water .. but since water was NOT
... being used 'differently' .. and it seems iron and folic acid .. WERE
...
Then we have .. two .. choices ..
WHAT .. differences .. were .. there ..
