Like at Jonestown with the purple koolaid, or at Wako with the pedophile
disciple.

Or in the Catholic church, over the centuries, with pedophilia and
institutional coverup.... the hand of false gods be upon you...

People like chung are a bunch of sick little troublemakers.

Your starting to believe in the existence of souls is a encouraging
change.

Such is the power of prayer.

There exists the possibility that crossposting to atheist NG's simply
invites strife.

Walking with Christ guarantees worldly strife while the prince of this
world still wanders about to and fro. There is no need to fret,
however, because our Shepherd gives us HIS peace which passes all
worldly understanding.

It is written that Christ has not come to this world to bring peace to
this world but a sword. We fight with truth and faith as the salt and
light in this world until HIS kingdom here on earth is completely
established and satan is overthrown. This fight comprises of keeping
GOD's offer of salvation on the table everywhere for the unsaved to
seize at a moment's notice possibly at the very last moment which may
be upon us very soon. Be ready to bear witness to their confessing
that Jesus Christ is "KING of kings and LORD of lords."

Please check your posts to make sure someone has not surrepetitously added a
crosspost that will only suceed in filling the NG's up with garbage.

What comes from the unsaved is not garbage but the cries of enslaved
souls. May GOD help us perservere to the very end when their bonds are
loosed before HIS day of judgement, in Jesus' most precious and holy
name.

Amen.

THE BIBLE, CHRISTIANS, AND MIRACLES
- AN ATHEIST MANIFESTO

*********************************************

Miracles. The bible promises we can work big
miracles. One either can or one cannot. No one
can.

Why?

1. Either the bible is untrue and the writers who
put these promises in the mouth of Jesus were
liars and idle tellers of tall tales, and
pious frauds.
or...

2. These promises are true and only real
Christians can work great miracles as promised
and those who can work no miracles are not
real Christians. Faux Christians at best.
True Christians are obviously extremely rare
at best

But if #2, then we should ignore all those who
cannot do miracles because they are obviously not
real Christians and can at best mislead us and
at best make us as one of them, false Christians,
probably damned if Matthew 7 is true. They can at
best teach us to become pseudo-Christians unable
to work miracles as they who cannot themselves
work miracles. They have nothing to teach us.

We then should as the only intelligent thing to
do, pay attention only to real Christians, those
who can as per Jesus's words, work great and
obvious miracles. Therefore, It is logical to pay
no attention to any self proclaimed Christian who
cannot work large, obvious miracles.

If no such Great miracle working Christians
exist, its most likely that #1 is true, the bible
lies, anonymous fools wrote stupid falsehoods.

So from now on, Christians, if you can't work the
promised big miracles, shut up. You have no right
to speak. You are not really a Christian. If you
cannot work the great miracles as promised, and
cannot point to those who demonstrably can now,
nothing you say is of value.

THE BIG MIRACLE PROMISES OF THE BIBLE
THE WORDS OF JESUS.

********************************************
John 14:12-14
12: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that
believeth on me, the works that I do shall he
do also; and greater works than these shall
he do; because I go unto my Father.
13: And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name,
that will I do, that the Father may be glorified
in the Son
14: If ye shall ask any thing in my name,
I will do it.

Mark 11:23-4
For verily I say this unto you, That
whosoever shall say unto this mountain,
Be thou removed, and be thou cast
into the sea; and shall not doubt
in his heart, but shall believe that
those things which he saith shall
come to pass; he shall have whatsoever
he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What
things soever ye desire, when ye pray,
believe ye receive them and ye shall have
them.

Matthew 21:22
And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask
in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Matthew 18:19-20
Again I say unto you, that if two of you
shall agree on earth as touching anything
that they shall ask, it shall be done for
them of my father which is in heaven. For
where two or three are gathered in my name,
there I am in the midst of them.

Not only is it written in the Holy Bible that GOD promises HIS faithful
people the power of the Holy Spirit to perform miracles, there are
accounts of numerous miracles performed by Jesus' disciples and
apostles.

Indeed one such big miracle has occurred recently even here within
these usenet newsgroups:

Simply witness that the Google archives indicate that the LORD has been
present among 4 of HIS faithful followers who have gathered in HIS name
and that HIS message is beyond the capacity of Google to contain.

LORD GOD Almighty is simply awesome !

Matthew 18:20 ? Gee, he's a bit late getting in, I though he would have arrived by 14:20 at least...

As big as the Magna Carta was, it was carted by 12:15 and Matthew *had*
to be earlier than that. I think Andrew Chump has it wrong again.

Budikka

Hmm. Matthew 1820, MC 1215. Sounds like Matt advances to the playoffs!
Can I go to the bar and watch it on TV?
