CT Scan Question
|
|
|
Can someone comment on the significance of hepatic fluid in this CT
scan profile?
Patient was hospitalized for bowl obstruction, which cleared itself up
after a day. Cat scan noted:
--Free intraabdominal Fluid in pelvis
--Dilated small bowel loops without specific mass or abscess
--Small amount of free hepatic fluid near the inferior margin of the
liver
--Granulomatous calcification in the spleen
Patient does not understand the significance of the hepatic fluid ...
nor really of the intraabdominal Fluid.
Any insight would be appreciated. |

Considering you just passed a salad bowl through your alimentary tract,
those findings appear normal. Consider yourself lucky you didn't rip
yourself a new a*****le when the bowl passed. Got pictures?
