Scared about lymphoma
|
|
|
As many of you know I am 33 and the proud father of a beautiful 5 year
old girl and 4 month old boy. They are my life.
Well, yesterday, I went to a specialist concernign fevers I have had on
and off for the last year and a half. They come and go quickly.
To make a long story short, she is afraid it might be lympoma. (Cancer
of the lymphnodes). I am terrified I have to go for a gallium scan
Monday and for 4 days after that each day.
My c reactive protein is highly elevated to a 54. My lymphcytes are
low.
I am very scared!
I need prayer! |

I believe you mean lymphoma. There are 2 types, Hodgkin's lymphoma
and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
Keep a positive attitude, despite your fears. You have a lot to live
for so will need to be as strong as you can be. Try not to freak out
before your condition is truly diagnosed, take some time to relax and
minimize your stress in whichever way works best for you.
I'll keep you in my positive thoughts. Please let us know how it
turns out.
