Sustained or extended release phenylephrine?
|
|
|
I'm working on a project looking at activity among pharma companies to move
away from pseudoephedrine to phenylephrine.
Does anyone have any knowledge of what some of the majors are doing here?
In particular, I am curious as to whether anyone is working on an extended
release version of phenylephrine for upper respiratory products, since it
doesn't last as long as pseudoephedrine.
Many thanks.

Cynical me! Could it be that they are trying to get new patents and to
extend others in order to make MONEY at the expense of patients?
