More news on CT/PET scan results

From march to april CEA jumped from 2.5 to 4.3, now in one month from
april to may it's tripled to 12. Nothing that could be called a tumor
showed on CT/PET scan but CEA is now rising rapidly. Onc.thinks that
since I had mets to peritonium that it's comung back somewhere in there
and just not showing yet. When I asked if a tumor did show would we then
try and remove it. She says no. Because I'm a stage 4 they wold not do
any more surgery on me as it would just come back somewhere else.
If my doctor has no faith or will to fight this how can I fight it. In
the last week she has told me there is no hope for a cure or remission
and now that they will not operate if a tumor shows.. |

Check with another doctor. If the new one says the same thing, well, you
know where you stand.
My new doctor still remarks about how he can't believe my old doctor
told me I was terminal and should quickly get my affairs in order.
