I am working on a story about Canadian owned internet pharmacies and
how they may be selling outdated or expired products to seniors in the
U.S.

Many of these drugs are shipped from overseas, and then trans-shipped
either directly to the customer or via Canadian based firms.

There is a clear danger in taking outdated drugs, especially for
seniors.

Many U.S. States have now approved their Medicare patients to accept
shipment of these drugs from "Canada", and it is not clear whether or
not the legislation will protect them against companies who are just
scamming them.

In addition, many sites that appear to be Canadian based are not
Canadian at all. God only knows what these people are shipping their
customers.

Please contact me privately if you know anyone who wants to talk about
their operations, or if you have been scammed by one of them.

I think you have your facts wrong about this. A few states sponsor websites
where any adult can order meds on a cash basis from certain quasi-approved
pharmacies in Canada, but this has nothing to do with Medicare patients or
the Medicare plan D drug program. AW
